The other night I reviewed the last Star Trek (ENG) of JJAbrams and District 9 (ENG) and wanting to be honest with myself, despite my enduring attachment to Star Trek, I find that the second is much better looking than the first. Thicker than a very realistic rendering of special effects that fits very well with real images. Not that the film inspired by G. Roddenberry to be outdone in the yield, but often offer visual situations that no human eye has ever seen, and then find no basis for comparison in the reality of everyday life.
Star Trek is the time to leave. District 9 uses science fiction and special effects in an elegant enslaving the theme developed and not as a workhorse.
